1.  What is the starting hourly wage at Mastercraft?

Mastercraft provides competitive wages that are based on factors including previous work experience and skills. Minimum starting wages begin at $8.00 per hour (starting wages may be higher based on other factors), and include numerous benefits.

3.  When is payday at Mastercraft?

Paychecks are issued on alternate Fridays based upon twenty-six two-week pay periods per year, with issuance of paychecks lagging the close of a pay period by approximately one week.  A pay period runs from Monday through Sunday.

 

4.  What are Mastercraft’s drug and alcohol policies?

Mastercraft is committed to a zero tolerance attitude towards drug and alcohol use. The nature of the work at Mastercraft involves use of machinery, power tools, and potentially hazardous situations. Employees can jeopardize themselves, others, and machinery if they are involved with drug use or being under the influence of alcohol.

To help create and maintain a safe and drug free work environment and comply with pertinent laws, Mastercraft reserves and exercises the right to test for drug and alcohol use in pre-employment screening, probable cause circumstances, and post-accident testing. Testing consists of urine drug testing, breath testing, or a combination of both.

 

5.  What are Mastercraft’s hours of operation?

Normal Working Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with a 30-minute lunch period yielding a total of eight hours daily working time. A ten-minute morning and ten-minute afternoon break on company time is normally granted.

Overtime may occur at any time of the year, but is most frequent during the busy summer months (June – August). Overtime is based upon work in excess of 40 hours per workweek and is paid at one and one-half times an employee’s regular rate of pay. A workweek runs from Monday through Sunday.

 

6.  What is Mastercraft’s dress code policy?

The following dress code rules are designed to promote a safe and respectable working environment:

  • safety glasses are required to be worn at all times on the shop floor during operating hours

  • shoes and shirts (and pants/shorts) are required to be worn at all times

  • no open-toe shoes are permitted on the shop floor during operating hours

  • no lewd clothing or clothing with potentially discriminatory messages is permitted
